Dubai Dolphinarium is open: its official site sells show tickets for every day of November except Tuesdays, at AED 112 for an adult and AED 62 for a child. It is inside Creek Park at Gate 1, and the park charges AED 5 per person on top. We could not confirm that the Creek Park cable car runs, so do not plan around it. This guide covers show times, prices, ages for the dolphin experiences, what Creek Park offers and what to pair it with.

Four creek-side stops to pair with the park
#1
Abra ride across Dubai Creek
A traditional wooden abra costs AED 1 a crossing in cash, and the heritage petrol abras AED 2. The boat leaves when it is full and takes a few minutes from Bur Dubai to the Deira Old Souq. Late afternoon from November to April has the best light. Prices can change, so carry coins.
#2
Al Seef
A free 1.8 km Creek promenade with heritage-style lanes, cafes and dhows. Shops open from 10 AM to 10 or 11 PM and restaurants stay open to 11 PM or midnight, so it works after a daytime show. Allow 2 to 3 hours with dinner. It is on the Bur Dubai side, a taxi ride from Creek Park.
#3
Dubai Creek Harbour
A waterfront promenade with the Burj Khalifa skyline across the water and free Ras Al Khor flamingo hides, open in daytime only. It is about a 15-minute taxi ride from Downtown and has no Metro station yet. It is best from November to March in the late afternoon, when the light is soft.
#4
Al Fahidi and the Old Dubai walk
The Al Fahidi lanes are free to walk and take 1 to 2 hours, with coral-stone houses and wind towers. Our guided Old Dubai walk takes 3 to 4 hours from $35 per person, or $55 with street-food tastings, crosses the Creek by abra and ends at the souks.
Dubai Dolphinarium: is it open? The short answer
Yes. As of 2 November 2026 the Dubai Dolphinarium is open and selling show seats through 30 November, on every day except Tuesdays. It is in Creek Park, at Gate 1 on Umm Hurair 2 Street, and the official site lists the Dolphin and Seal Show at 11 AM, 2 PM and 6 PM. Gulf News's October 2026 guide to Dubai's parks also lists it inside Creek Park. The building is indoors and fully air-conditioned, so it works on a hot day.
Two things are separate from the show ticket. Creek Park charges its own entry of AED 5 per person, and the cable car is not something we can promise: we found no official source that confirms it is running. Both are covered below.
Show times, prices and ages
The table comes from the Dolphinarium's official website and its booking pages, read on 2 November 2026. Prices are those on sale for that day, so check the date you want, and check Tuesdays with the venue.
| Experience | Times | Length | Prices and rules |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dolphin and Seal Show | 11:00 AM, 2:00 PM, 6:00 PM; daily except Tuesdays | 45 minutes | Adult (12+) AED 112; child (2 to 11) AED 62 |
| Exotic Bird Show | 12:15 PM, 3:15 PM, 7:15 PM; daily except Tuesdays | 30 minutes | Adult AED 50; child AED 30 |
| Dolphin Educational Tour | 10:00 AM, 12:40 PM, 3:20 PM, 3:40 PM, 4:40 PM | 10 minutes | A walk-through with viewing areas; price shown at booking |
| Dolphin Meet and Greet (indoor pool) | 12:20, 12:40, 3:10, 3:30, 3:50 and 5:20 PM | 10 minutes | From age 5; up to 3 activities with dolphins, photos and video; price shown at booking |
| Majestic Swim with Dolphins (indoor pool) | 10:20 AM, 1:20 PM, 4:20 PM | 20 minutes | From age 8, confident swimmers, under 110 kg; price shown at booking |

On the show tickets: the booking page for 2 November also lists a standard popcorn box and a AED 10 drink discount; the popcorn offer page gave October as its validity, so confirm at booking. Children aged 2 to 11 must be accompanied by a paying adult with the same show ticket. Infants under 2 are free and sit on an adult's seat. Guests are asked to arrive at least 45 minutes before the show, and tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. For the pool experiences, children aged 5 to 11 need a paying adult aged 18 or over with them.
One old line to ignore: the terms page still says children aged 2 to 11 are free until 31 March. That date has passed, and the special offers page says children aged 2 to 11 need a child ticket.
Creek Park: entry, hours and what is inside
Creek Park is a Dubai Municipality park on the creek in Umm Hurair. Entry is AED 5 per person, paid to Dubai Municipality, at the gate or in advance on the Dubai Public Parks website, and it is not included in the Dolphinarium ticket. Gulf News listed the park as open daily from 8 AM in October 2026, with green space, play areas and water views. Children's City and the Dolphinarium are inside the park and are ticketed separately.
Gulf News reported earlier that most large municipal parks, including Creek Park, open from 8 AM to 10 PM Monday to Thursday and to 11 PM from Friday to Sunday, and that children under 2 and People of Determination enter free. Hours change around holidays, so check the Dubai Municipality app or the park website before you go. Our guide to Dubai's public parks compares Creek Park with Zabeel, Safa and Mushrif.
Some travel sites also mention barbecue areas, bike hire and an amphitheatre in Creek Park. We could not confirm these on an official page, so ask at the gate before you plan a picnic around them.
The Creek Park cable car: what we could and could not confirm
Many travel listings still describe a Creek Park cable car at about AED 25 per person. We could not confirm that it runs. Gulf News's October 2026 guide to Creek Park lists green space, play areas, water views, Children's City and the Dolphinarium, and no cable car. One travel guide says the cable car closed for safety reasons and has been dismantled, and another says it appears as suspended in transport information. We could not verify either claim on an official page.
Treat the cable car as unavailable and do not build your day around it. If it matters to you, ask at Gate 1 or contact Dubai Municipality before you travel. The Dolphinarium, the park walk and the creek nearby are enough for a half day without it.
Getting there
The Dolphinarium is at Creek Park Gate 1, Umm Hurair 2 Street, the same entrance that serves Children's City. By Metro, its own location page names Dubai Healthcare City or Oud Metha station on the Green Line, and Gulf News names Dubai Healthcare City as the nearest station to the park. Our Dubai Metro guide covers Nol cards and fares.
By road, the Dolphinarium says it is about 10 minutes from Dubai International Airport, 10 minutes from the Burj Khalifa and 20 minutes from Dubai Marina, which will be longer at rush hour. Tell a taxi driver Creek Park Gate 1, not just the Dolphinarium, so that you arrive at the right entrance.
Is the Dolphinarium worth it? Honest notes
It is a good indoor option for children and for a hot afternoon, but it is not cheap: AED 112 for an adult and AED 62 for a child buys a 45-minute show, and the park entry is extra. The bird show at AED 50 for an adult and AED 30 for a child is the cheaper way to see live animals. Extras cost more: the official site lists feeding the birds from AED 25, a photo with parrots from AED 40, a photo with a seal from AED 60 and a photo with a sea eagle from AED 100.
Some travellers prefer not to attend shows with marine mammals. The Dolphinarium says it is a member of Species360, a non-profit group of zoos and aquariums. Whether to go is a personal choice. If you want other animal visits, our Dubai Safari Park guide, Green Planet guide and Dubai Crocodile Park guide cover the options, and best things to do in Dubai with kids sorts activities by age.
Pair it with the creek
Creek Park is on the creek, so a half day here pairs well with the old city and its waterfront. The abra ride costs AED 1 a crossing, and Al Seef is a free promenade for dinner. If you would rather have a guide, our Old Dubai walking tour runs 3 to 4 hours from $35 per person, crosses the Creek by abra and visits the spice and gold souks.
For a day in the other direction, the shared yacht tour is one hour on the water from $32 per person. Ask us on WhatsApp for dates; we do not sell Dolphinarium tickets, so book those on the official site.
